Job Summary: Provides technical, schedule, and budgeting direction for all Engineering activities in the SATCOM Newton, Catawba and Noida facilities.

Essential Functions
•Manages RF, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering programs. Scope includes, but is not limited to, new products, product iterations, cost reduction, and technical customer support.
•Assembles data and participates in the writing of specifications, procedures, and operations/maintenance manuals.
•Participates in all on-going programs and/or troubleshooting exercises.
•Leads daily engineering follow-up of on-going projects and programs, both in lab and office.
•Participates in all project design reviews.
•Reviews/approves test reports.
•Discusses antenna performance-related problems with customers and technicians. Provides detailed explanations of performance particulars.
•Offers Engineering leadership by training, supervising, and guiding activities of engineers and technicians.
•Contributes to technical proposal efforts as directed. Works with Marketing on non-standard quotations and assists with associated proposals.
•Holds responsibility for non-standard projects, which involve material procurement, testing, and complete documentation of both electrical and mechanical equipment/functions.
Job Specifications:
Experience and Education
•Masters Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
•Minimum ten years Engineering Management experience
•Volume manufacturing experience within a metal fabrication environment
•Composites manufacturing experience
•Hands on knowledge and experience implementing Lean and Cost Reduction

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Must understand earth station antenna RF system requirements.
•Must be highly knowledgeable of antenna feed systems and associated components. Such knowledge to include design, performance characteristics, and constraints.
•Domestic and International travel is required.
•Ability to obtain Indian and Chinese work Visas is required
