Our client is a successful real estate and facilities company with national coverage across Canada. They offer a complete range of real estate services including Real Estate Management, Project Management, and Property Facilities Management. They have a wide range of private and public sector clients and a strong reputation for excellence in the industry. They are currently looking for a strong leader to join their team in Vancouver, to manage and oversee their property operations in British Columbia and Alberta. The Role:
The Company seeks a Director of Facilities to join and lead their team in Greater Vancouver. The successful candidate will have 10 years working experience in property management as well as extensive project delivery expertise. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Performance of the management of the properties, including budgets, project delivery and client relations
- Lead and mentor both internal staff and contractors
- Build relationships and deliver on client expectations
- Ensure all projects and working environments meet all company and provincial Occupational Health and safety policies
The Candidate:
Applicants for this role must have the following:
- 10+ years in a property management capacity as well as a professional designation such a CFM or CPM
- Excellent technical, business management and financial skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to motivate and lead team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in time sensitive environments
- strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage projects to client expectations
