DIRECTOR OF FAMILY & AGING SERVICES Job in Tampa, Florida Us

The Director of Family Aging Services will have comprehensive responsibilities for the management, accountability and oversight over several diverse and complex functional areas: Health Social Services, Aging Services, Children's Services, Veteran's Affairs, Head Start and the Sunshine Line. The Director is also responsible for the coordination of homelessness issues and initiatives. A significant amount of latitude, initiative and independent judgment are afforded the Director in determining the organizational structure and operational details. There are approximately750 employees in the Family Aging Services Department. More than twenty (20) grant programs are managed within this department, such as the Ryan White Grant and Community Services Block Grants. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Note: Minimum Qualifications MUST be attained before the recruitment ending date.

Graduation from an accredited four year degree college or university with a major in human services, social work, psychology, business administration, management or public administration or a related field, and eight (8) years of senior level managerial experience in a human services agency,or a health or social service related business.

OR

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in human services, social work, psychology, business administration or public administration, management or a related field, and five (5) years of senior level managerial experience in a human services agency,or a health or social service related business.
