Director of Finance Administration

 

Progressive community service organization funded primarily through government support is looking for a dedicated and committed professional to provide financial, operational, and technological leadership.  Individual will oversee/manage agency budget and accounting systems, human resources activities, facilities, risk management, and information technology services.   Position reports to the Executive Director and advises Executive staff and the Board in matters including, but not limited to, status of program funding, program spending, actual and projected cash flow and actions necessary to assure agency fiscal stability.

 

Requirements of the position

 

MA, MBA or Bachelor's Degree in finance/accounting with minimum 7 years’ qualifying experience in a nonprofit environment.  Candidate should have minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.  Should possess superior PC skills in MS Excel, MS Access, Windows, MS Office, FEZ accounting software experience (or similar NFP program), familiarity with payroll software and payroll databases. He/she should possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.  Excellent organization and analytical skills are required, in addition to communication and verbal skills.
