Director of Finance & Corporate Services
Hays are currently working for a prominent public sector body in the recruitment of a Director of Finance and Corporate Services. Competitive Pay - 46-52k over the duration of 5-6 Month Contract.
The main duties of this role will be expected as highlighted below:
-Responsible for developing the corporate and business plan process including monitoring and reporting to the CEO on the achievement of targets.
- Establishing and managing all financial systems and expenditure by the organization, overseeing the preparation of monthly financial management accounts, budgets, expenditure forecasts and monitoring round bids and presenting reports on achievement of financial targets to CEO and Board.
-Responsible for the production of statutory annual accounts and managing the interaction with auditors.
-Managing the planning and delivery of other corporate affairs (i.e. other than financial) activity.
-Line management of a team of 5 staff responsible for financial management, human resources, programme management and business support and administration.
Essential Criteria for Director of Finance Corporate Services
Significant experience of leading the effective organization and management of resources of a business-oriented private, public or third sector organization at senior management/director level, in a way that has demonstrably contributed to the achievement of business strategy and objectives.
A CCAB recognized professional qualification in accountancy.
