Director of Finance Job in Richmond V6Y2C1, British Columbia Canada
Our global, publicly traded high-tech client is looking to add a Director of Finance to their team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your well-honed skills to assist with business change initiatives and improving business processes.
Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with divisional heads and Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership to a global team in operational accounting, financial reporting, payroll and tax. You will maintain and develop the annual finance planning process, and quarterly forecasting initiatives. Additionally, you will develop and roll-out finance strategies in alignment with corporate objectives. Your strong leadership skills will be utilized to mentor and coach a global team and develop career planning goals for the team.
Requirements:
· Accounting designation (CA,CGA,CMA)
· 8+ years experience of progressive experience in leadership accounting roles.
· High tech and pubco experience preferred.
· Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint skills
· A proven leader with ability to influence and build collaborative teams
· Highly organized and well-honed time management skills with capacity to juggle competing priorities.
