Director of Financial Planning Schedule : Full-time Shift : Day Hourly Rate : $51.64 + Depending on Experience Job Category : Finance Accounting Location : California-Torrance Providence is calling a Director of Financial Planning to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA. We are seeking a Director of Financial Planning for our Finance Department In this position you will: Responsible for the financial planning and decision support functions for a multi-faceted Medical Center and adjoining entities. This includes areas of long-range financial planning, financial analysis, budget preparation, external compliance reporting, and maintenance of the cost accounting systems. Provides financial support to the executive team in budgetary processes, financial results, labor productivity development and reporting, product line analysis, service line results, and strategic planning. Responsible for completion of the long range plan, annual plan, capital budget, and productivity reporting. Manages the finance team and financial projects by setting priorities, guiding analysis and reviewing results. Responsible for data integrity used in financial analysis. Prepares and presents financial results to management, identifying issues and providing recommendations. Required qualifications for this position include: Minimum of ten years recent healthcare finance experience. B achelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance. N egotiation and Presentation skills. A dvanced numerical ability and aptitude. Ability to write effective reports.
