Calvin Klein Brands, a division of Warnaco Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a talented Director of Global Marketing to join our team. Develop and coordinate the global marketing efforts for Calvin Klein Brands at Warnaco. Brands to include Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear, ck Calvin Klein, and Calvin Klein Swim. Develop and execute strategies that drive business growth while maintaining the brand positioning. Manage and maximize day-to-day interaction with licensor Calvin Klein, Inc. and other external agencies. Lead coordination of Calvin Klein marketing activities with global regions (US, Europe, Asia, Latin America). Work with internal partners, especially Design, Merchandising, Digital, Retail, Finance, and Production, to execute key initiatives.
In additional, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead in the development of a consumer-centric culture, through on-going consumer insight tools, including research and CRM.
- Develop creative brief and coordinate execution of spring and fall launches, including institutionals advertising campaigns, media strategy, packaging, communications, and visual merchandising efforts. Cross-functional coordination with Sales, Merchandising/Design, Finance, Legal and Regional divisions.
- Direct packaging and trim development, including establishing the calendar, new packaging concepts, regional needs, and new branding concepts.
- Manage global artwork budget and other regional allocations.
- Support expansion of retail stores and wholesale shops, including visual and marketing support.
- Support Digital efforts, including content, commerce, social media, and ePR.
- Provide Regional updates on the development of marketing tools to execute a consistent brand strategy around the globe.
- Work closely with licensor CKI, especially the CRK creative agency, Public Relations team, and Visual Merchandising teams.
- Pursue Calvin Klein cross branding initiatives where and when appropriate.
- Support Senior Management in development of business strategies and communication tools.
- Provide support and direction for Calvin Klein Brands global marketing budget.
- 2 direct reports. Support 4 regional marketing directors.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- 7-9 years marketing experience, preferably in apparel/retail/fashion
- BA in marketing/communications/business/liberal arts; MBA preferred
- Global fashion brand experience desired
