Job Description Job Number: 1505904 Business GE Healthcare Business Segment: Healthcare Global Services Posted Position Title: Director of Global Training Operations Career Level: Experienced Function Services Function Segment: Field Services Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Wisconsin City: Waukesha Postal Code: 53186-1118 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: The Director of Global Training Operations will report to the GM, Global Services Training and Education and will be responsible for leading a large team of Regional Training Managers to meet technical and professional training requirements. This position will be the single point of entry into the Healthcare Institute to ensure all Global region training demand planning requirements are properly identified, prioritized, resourced and effectively met for GEHC employees and customers. Essential Responsibilities " Work with all Global Regional Training and Service Strategy Development organizations to determine training and education requirements and required solutions. This effort will require training resourcing expertise for budget inputs (S-2 cylce) and Strategic Planning determinations (Growth Play Book). " Provide oversight and direction to the daily operation of regional training sites. This effort will require close coordination with HCI Operations and Business Operation Directors and regional staffs to ensure all budget, Quality, Safety, and training support requirements are met. " Coordinate with the Director of Training and Buisness Operations to plan and execute Regional training and education requirements within budget. This will involve the prioritizing and sequencing of training requirements for the current training year and planned New Product Introductions (NPIs) while determining delivery mechanism methodologies and locations. " Establish, collect, analyze and evaluate Work Force Training readiness metrics and direct solutions to meet requirements. " Draft global strategies, plans, and policies to meet identified Work Force training readiness requirements. " Coordinate the drafting, staffing and implementing of Regional Training and Education policies across all Global Regions. " Integrate along with the Director of Future Learning Strategies the introduction of advanced learning strategies and technologies into all Global Regions.Work with Region service teams to identify consolidate training needs that can be used for demand planning with Student Support and Training Delivery. Drive regional attendance of scheduled courses by working with Regional Service teams to fill requested demands. " Lead periodic collaboration sessions with Regional Training Leaders. Plan and execute yearly summits of Global Regional Training leaders. Establish communications tools to enhance collaboration on technical training topics of interest to all regions. Qualifications/Requirements: " Bachelors degree and 5 years training delivery, education or leadership experience. " A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and managing a major technical training organization. " A minumum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, resourcing, and execution at a significant level to support technical training. " Proven excellence in communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Strong influencing skills across diverse business functions. " Strong leadership experience, able to manage ambiguity and experience leading team members in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders. " Demonstrated cross-functional project management and analytical skills. " Willingness to travel up to 30%; including international when needed. " Ability to work flexible hours. " Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time, without sponsorship. " Must be willing to work in our Waukesha, WI facility full-time.
