Director of Internal Audit Job in Dobbs Ferry 10522, New York US
The Director of Internal Audit will report to the Chief Compliance Officer. The Director of Internal Audit will provide independent oversight over operational compliance units. He/She will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the efforts and programs of the College in order to assure that its employees and actions are compliant with aspects of federal, state and local laws and regulations, and College policies.
- Planning, developing audit plans and objectives, conducting audit tests, and updating the risk profile of the college.
- Ascertaining the reliability of accounting and other financial data developed within the college.
- Auditing the effectiveness of policies and procedures in place at the college.
- Investigating discrepancies noted by outside auditors and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Reporting the results of audits to the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees and to the President of the college.
