Director of Investment Management, Real Estate Debt Products recruitment

Our client is a recognised leader in the field and has an outstanding track record in acquiring non and sub performing debt products, CMBS and Real Estate assets.
Responsibilities of the position
• Formulate strategy and prepare business plans to maximise returns on portfolio investments
• Review and analyse quantitative portfolio data, legal documents and other materials as part of the project due diligence process;
• Conduct valuations
• Prepare and present proposals to the investment committee
• Work closely with legal, tax, Real Estate, financial advisors and loan servicers to bring deals to successful conclusion
You will have:
• Strong academics, educated at least to degree level ideally in economics, mathematics or a business related discipline
• Previous transactional experience in a leading financial institution, private equity or real estate group
• Experience of all aspects of loan underwriting, execution and management
• A self-starter with problem solver mentality and the ability to make well reasoned business decisions
• Outstanding Excel modelling and financial skills with proven capability
• Excellent transaction management skills
• A solid grasp of European Real Estate market intelligence with a particular focus on western European markets
• Fluent in English and an additional European language would be beneficial
