Position: Director of Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes for a medical device company in Laguna Hills, California. A candidate with product development experience is preferred.
Requirements
The candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Engineering degree, prefer Mechanical Aerospace
- 15+ years experience in manufacturing
- Must have experience working with small medical devices and/or dental devices
- Familiarity with electronics/electromechanical components is a plus
- Experience taking products from concept to finished product and implementing required manufacturing processes
- Experience optimizing products for manufacturing
- Experience working with manufacturing teams
- Preferably has experience with injection molding (including plastics and metal) as well as other manufacturing processes
- Experience with Solidworks 3D modeling software
The individual must have a high level of energy, work ethic, and initiative. The candidate should also be creative and enjoy working with a small multi-disciplinary team on a number of projects at a time.
