Director of Marketing (Global Strategy and Product) recruitment

The qualified candidate will head up a team providing global marketing strategy and support to the product groups. The marketing function is responsible for developing and managing the marketing functions across all products, regions and functions. These functions include brand development, sales collateral, conferences and sales campaigns.

• Contribute to the implementation of a proactive and integrated marketing strategy that strengthens our brand identity.

• Utilizing the full marketing mix to deliver targeted marketing campaigns that produce high quality sales leads and support the brand.

• Participating in corporate activities including organization of conferences and seminars, collaborating with PR for press releases and public speaking engagements.

• Contribution to the marketing aspects of the website and its development including the product- related areas.

• Gather intelligence generally via media monitoring, industry conferences, trade journals, business media and networking.

• Oversee team responsible for event coordination. Supervision, planning and execution of customer and trade show events, sometimes requiring on-site assistance. Attention to details, timeliness and high organizational ability required to support sales and executive personnel at such events.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of broad marketing experience in financial services or technology

• Extensive experience in running web based marketing campaigns.

• Experience ideally gained in a financial services, data or software environment owing to technical complexities of products and services.

• Financial Services Market Data experience strongly preferred
