Director of Marketing recruitment
OptionsHouse is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our team. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for planning, implementing and executing customer acquisition, retention, and revenue stimulation campaigns to generate business growth. Focus will be on paid and organic search, display media, social media, email programs, offline media (print, television, radio) and development of new channels.
The candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse team and have a proven track record of success in direct-to-consumer marketing in results-oriented organizations. This position will manage the team responsible for driving acquisition across key online channels, and delivering against unit and revenue goals on a quarterly basis.
This individual will have great interpersonal skills, tenacity, and a very strategic outlook on industry marketing and e-commerce. He or she will be a key member of a team assembled to be best in class at marketing.
Requirements
- Brings a wide range of marketing experiences with a focus on acquisition through online channels
- Experience with test plan development, business analytics, forecasting, budget management , media buying and online merchandising,.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience marketing consumer goods and/or services through online and offline vehicles. Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated marketing strategies, tactics, plans and programs.
- A big-picture, strategic outlook with a grasp of the tactical issues.
- Experience in development and implementation of social media strategies and tactics
- Savvy marketer and business manager with a record of quantifiable achievements
- Ability to create the strategic direction of increasing marketing activity from a variety of media channels to expand market share
- Develop compelling marketing that drives action by our target customers.
- Improve conversion through continuous testing and redesign of creative, product, and offers.
- Act as a key decision maker and member of the leadership team for the group
- Define the proper metrics needed to make sound decisions on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual unit forecasts
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a quantity of valuable new customers within the framework of ROI goals
- Demonstrated ability to develop retention programs that result in measurable reduction in customer churn activity
- Demonstrated ability to develop revenue stimulation programs that result in measurable growth in revenue per customer metrics
- Test new venues for customer and lead generation
- Develop Marketing strategies that ensure customer base growth with profitable returns
- Evaluate market share and monitor competition
Experience
- Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years relevant experience
- Minimum 5+ years marketing leadership experience
- An undergraduate degree is required and an MBA degree is preferred.
- Prior budget management in excess of $3MM preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to use good judgment and work effectively inter-departmentally, thrive in a multi-task position within a fast paced environment.
