Qualifications: ~ Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri ~ BSN in Nursing preferred ~ Minimum of two yrs experience in nursing, with a combination of acute care and home health/public health preferred ~ Prior supervisory/management experience ~ CPR Certification ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability: ~ Plans, directs and participates in delivery of professional services to home care clients. Participates in the organization's strategic planning activities. ~ Assist in the planning and development of agency structure, clinical and administrative policies and procedures and the annual operating and capital budgets. ~ Coordinates and directs programs and staffing ~ Provides education and training related to clinical practice issues and regulation and reimbursement changes. ~ Participates in the hiring and orientation of personnel ~ Implements systems to assure compliance with all State, Federal and Local laws ~ Provide staff development and inservice education programs to ensure competencies of staff and to meet regulatory requirements. ~ Identifies admission criteria for new clients and evaluates eligibility for home health care benefits through 3rd party payers. ~ Reviews and updates client care procedures annually. ~Establishes Quality Improvement teams to address priorities for improvement activities.
