Director of Online Marketing and Audience Development Job in San Diego 92108, California US
Wells Publishing is seeking a Director of Online Marketing and Audience Development to lead the online marketing and audience development efforts across all Wells Publishing brands and products. These products include 2 national print magazines, 5 websites, and Android and IOS mobile apps. This position will conceive, execute and optimize online marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting our leading brands and products in the insurance industry market.
The ideal candidate will have online marketing experience and be comfortable executing online audience acquisition and development marketing campaigns from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create online polls and surveys to better understand audience
- Launch campaigns to obtain information that can be used to better target content and offerings to busy insurance professionals
- Project management - work with designers, and web developers to tightly manage online marketing campaigns that promote magazine subscriptions, e-newsletters subscriptions, webinars, live events, mobile device app downloads and data directories
- Set up and deploy email marketing campaigns to acquire and retain subscribers both online and in print.
- Create custom landing pages and web forms to increase registration and audience sign ups
- Conceive and execute tests to improve online marketing performance
- Analyze the performance of online marketing campaigns and make improvements, using online analytics software and spreadsheets
- Recommend (and execute) improvements to optimize the performance of e-newsletters, email promotions and other online marketing campaigns
- Create reports that show results of ongoing and new test programs vs. goal
- Work to maintain a high quality BPA report and audit.
