We are seeking an individual to fill the position of Director of Operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President, your responsibilities include Project Management from the start of the bid process to project completion. In addition, internal communication with employees and external communication with clients will be a key component of this position.

Responsibilities

·         Directing the Project Management process for projects, including; Contract

·         Administration, Documentation, Planning, Supervising delivery of projects and providing post project support

·         Managing and overseeing the corporate budget for office and facilities management across the organization.

·         Coordinating departmental programs, such as meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects, and events.

·         Participating in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes; prepares and administers work unit operating budget; provides recommendations on policies and goals desired; and implements new/revised programs according to established guidelines.

·         Monitoring individual project progress to insure meeting of specific deadlines

·         Leads and coordinates project update meetings, and documents project status and issues.

·         Improving loss Management practices through oversight of operational processes

·         Monitors customer feedback and corrective actions. Uses feedback to implements improvements and makes adjustments to the quality systems to meet customer requirements,

·         Represent the group in client meetings

Qualifications

·         10 Years of directly related Project Management experience

·         5+ Years of industry (oil gas/construction/maintenance) experience

·         5+ Years of Leadership leading a team of 3 or more members

·         In -depth knowledge of regulatory requirements

·         Engineering Degree or equivalent experience

·         Experienced in investigation of systems problems - ability to find and implement solutions in a timely manner

·         Excellent communications - written and verbal

·         Strong Leadership/ mentoring ability

·         Solution-focused and a decision maker

·         Project Management experience

·         Quality Management Systems knowledge/ background

·         Applicable Dimensions/ Competencies

·         Analysis, Planning and Organization

·         Quality Orientation

Working Conditions

·         Office environment

·         Field environment with occasional exposure to extreme weather
