OPERATIONS MANAGER

Green Apple Supply is a nonprofit retailer of eco-friendly home, school office supplies at near-wholesale prices in order to lessen the gap between eco products and the 75% of America that cannot afford them.

 

Job Description: The Operations Director directly supervises and coordinates the activities of Green Apple Supply, including staff and programming, to ensure optimal levels of operations, customer satisfaction, and staff relations.  The Operations Director maximizes efficiency and productivity in support of Green Apple Supply’s mission.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Plan, direct, and coordinate a rapidly growing start up enterprise.

·      Assist and participate in the development and implementation of a master plan for

·      Green Apple Supply that supports the front and back end, financial, and public relations objectives of the organization.

·      Develop, implement and oversee current and long-range administrative and personnel planning to ensure that the organization is effectively structured and staffed.

·         Work closely with management to ensure the office runs effectively on a day-to-day basis and trouble-shoot when necessary.

·         Initiate and implement company policies and procedures and ensure compliance among other staff.

·         Manage ordering, inventory, and stocking of Green Apple Suppply products.

·         Ensure that all property, products, facility and equipment remain in good condition.

·         Supervise fulfillment house and oversee all items shipped to customers.

·         Conduct ongoing research for new ideas and betterment of existing administrative and operational issues.

·         Coordinate and plan all schedules pertaining to production and distribution of materials.

·         Prepare budgets and calendars for completion of projects.
