Director of Outpatient Wound Care Center Job in Murrells Inlet 29576, South Carolina US
Position Summary: The Outpatient Wound Care Program Director (OWCPD) oversees the day-to-day operations of the GHS Outpatient Wound Care program which includes planning and directing. This includes operations and business management, human resources management, physician relations, patient flow and management, billing and expenses management, compliance management, quality/safety initiative and improvement, interdisciplinary team contributions, marketing and revenue projection obtainment and many other aspects associated with running this arm of the GHS business as well as completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related Healthcare field required. Masters degree preferred
Experience:
- A minimum of five years previous healthcare related leadership experience required.
- Previous Healthcare system outpatient program leadership experience required.
- Previous outpatient wound care program director level experience preferred.
- Prior experience with Healthcare program marketing preferred.
Special Skills:
- Demonstrated proficient written and oral communication skills required
- Evidence of effective leadership, interpersonal skills, consensus and team building skills required
- Strong Operational problem solving/decision making skills required
- Demonstrated ability to work within and facilitate the team environment
- Ability to self motivate to meet major organizational project and goal assignments required.
- Ability to establish and maintain various types of data to guide decision making and for reporting required.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Software including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge of Meditech preferred
- Ability to prioritize assignments and handle interruptions with quick re-focus to accomplish time sensitive tasks (“multi-tasking”) required.
- Knowledge of HBO coding and Wound Care coding preferred.
- Excellent personal skills including marketing and public relations knowledge required.
Other:
- Must have drivers license in good standing and personal transportation to visit referring physicians offices and other local healthcare facilities.
