Girling Health Care's Home Health division is currently seeking a Director of Patient Care in Dallas, TX!
Responsible for the quality of patient care. Manages day-to-day Unit operational activities to ensure compliance. Identifies areas of concern and implements changes as appropriate. Refers issues to supervisor as appropriate. Maintains confidentiality and privacy with regard to patient, staff, and Agency issues. Available via telecommunications at all times, including after business hours and on weekends and holidays. Serves as a resource regarding patient care. Keeps current with all Agency and program changes. Oversees development of assigned staff. Ensures staff within the Unit receive timely orientation, skills training, on-going inservices, individual needs assessments, and performance evaluations. Ensures proper staffing levels to provide consistent coverage of quality care and adequate administrative support. Manages hiring process to ensure proper staff election. Ensures all productivity standards are being met and, if not, ensures corrective measures are taken. Ensures day-to-day unit operations are within budget guidelines. Promotes positive community public relations.
Experience Required
- Free from Medicare Sanctions (required)
- Current RN license (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Minimum of two years experience as an RN, one of which was in a supervisor capacity (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
