DIRECTOR OF PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES:
Garrett County Memorial Hospital, nestled in the
scenic mountains of
beautiful western Maryland, is currently in search of a full-time Director of Patient Financial Services. This position is responsible for promoting and maximizing the Hospitalâs revenue
cycle throughout the
organization, including cash flow improvement,
denial management and administrating functions that contribute to the
capture, management and collection of patient service revenue. Direct oversight of the Accounts Receivable Billing/Collection and
Revenue Cycle process.
Bachelorâs Degree in a
related field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred. Approximately 5 years in credit, billing and collections in a healthcare setting required. Knowledge of 3rd party billing and reimbursement
program, managed care contracting and collection policies and practices
required. Experience using Meditech information
ystem preferred.
Candidate must possess strong communication skills and be highly motivated.
