- Create organizational structure to support plant project and turnaround requirements
- Lead energy improvement team. Assimilate team and develop vision and metrics to lead to continuous improvement of energy usage
- Manage capital, expense, and turnaround projects group for the Port Arthur facility
- Ensure Project Management Guidelines from FHR are followed for all projects. Develop group systems to support PMG.
- Develop group capabilities with FHR and engineering contractor to ensure effective use of resources to meet project demands
- Ensure that engineering standards are followed on all projects with proper documentation for all phases of all projects
- Establish execution roles and expense projects to coordinate effective implementation of all project execution
- Help set plant goals and initiatives and drive plant vision and results
WORK EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 10+ years of Project Manager experience in Petrochemical or Chemical industry
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline
WORK EXPERIENCE SKILLS PREFERRED:
- Certified Project Manager
PHYSICAL DEMANDS or UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Stooping, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling and squatting
- Climbing heights of up to 180 feet (stairs and ladders) and climbing portable ladders up to 25 feet
- Walking up and down stairs frequently
- Constantly (2/3 or more of the time) hearing, seeing (acuity - near far and depth)
- Exposure to environmental conditions (frequently walking in and outdoors) with exposure to extreme warm and cold temperatures
- Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently
