Director of Quality/Risk Management Job in Baraboo, Wisconsin US

Responsible for maintaining databases and work processes specific to risk management, customer satisfaction, complaint management, service recovery and public reported data. Also responsible for regulatory affairs such as The Joint Commission and CMS. Participation in coordinating occurrence follow-up/root cause analyses to include responding to Sentinel and Serious Events. Instrumental in facilitating FMEA and RCA's house wide and will use CQI tools in improvement activities. Also responsible for conducting readiness mock tracers, compiling Provider PI Profiles for OPPE and FPPE purposes, coordinating and compiling reports are key to position. Leads Patient Safety Council and patient safety initiatives. Position works closely with all departments of the hospital and position requires continual rounding with departments, physicians and patients. Also responsible for providing technical/clerical support such as typing, faxing, data entry, preparing graphs and presentations, and Xerox copying for various meetings to keep close working relationship.

Degree in Business/Health Care Administration or related field required. Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and medical terminology is required. Two years minimum experience in the field is preferred. Excellent transcribing and grammar skills required. Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills is a must.
