Director of Retail Banking Strategy recruitment
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the team and will need to provide direction and coaching to the more junior members. You will be responsible for reporting the strategic findings of the business directly into the Senior Executive committee; this will have substantial impact on both the short and medium term performance of the business
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
»Predicating trends, keeping abreast of external market trends and conducting insightful competitor analysis.
»Working closely and developing key relationships with MDs to ensure alignment of short and medium term business and longer term strategic direction.
»Identify new strategic business growth opportunities from both an inorganic and organic perspective.
»Help develop and maintain an effective succession plan for the team, building rigorous development plans for their future careers and also identifying a pipeline of future talent
Suitable candidates will posses superb academics and will come from a top tier strategy firm such as McKinsey/ Bain or equivalent or another leading financial services organisation. Financial services experience is essential with Retail banking experience a big bonus. The bank has a culture of promoting from within; therefore, this role is pitched to have a life span of 2 years with a view of transitioning directly into the business.
