Director of Sales and Marketing Job in Plumsteadville 18949, Pennsylvania Us

Our client who specializes in the design and production of instruments is seeking a full-time Director of Sales and Marketing to join their team and perform the following job duties.

Responsibilities

Sales

·         Responsible for management and direction of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Company.

·         Promote and sell products to existing and potential customers through all means available, including but not limited to: face to face meetings, phone calls, email, correspondence, trade shows, the internet, etc.

·         Develop, maintain, and improve relations with all customers of the Company.

·         Seek out, target, and develop new customers and new sales opportunities

·         Initiates action plan to approach and secure new business

·         Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals. 

·         Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential

·         Produce Monthly Sales reports for use by President and Board

·         Provide quarterly sales updates and forecasts to Board and President

·         Manage and Direct Domestic and International Sales Force

·         Work in concert with Production Supervisor and Director of Quality/Sales to ensure accurate timely fulfillment of orders

·         Develop, implement and reconcile comprehensive sales and marketing programs

 

Marketing

·         Develop in concert with Management Staff, strategic marketing plan for the company including customers, geography, and methods on how to reach them.  

·         Maintain and monitor a solid media relations program

·         Develop, monitor and evaluate website and social media outlets.

·         Develop and implement a plan for brand awareness.

 

 

 

Administration 

·         Recruit, interview, select, train, motivate and evaluate staff; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies; coach employees and conduct performance evaluations; implement discipline and termination procedures.

·         Directs department(s) to achieve objectives

·         Develop, monitor and evaluate the annual marketing and sales budget.

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelors degree in Music or Business with at least 7-10 years of sales and marketing experience

·         Music Education/Experience Required

·          Experience with and knowledge of social media methods.

·         Knowledge of website maintenance.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Highly Creative,  Enthusiastic and Motivated individual with a good sense of Humor

 

 

Hours: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm
