Director of Sales & Business Development
Principle duties and responsibilities will be as follows
- Drive business development initiatives in the Japan market
- Act as a day-to-day team leader for the sales team to further develop existing client relationships and cultivate new client pipeline
- Identify new areas of opportunity within the Japanese market to fully leverage product suite and capabilities
- Develop comprehensive local product strategy to meet customer needs and to make the company an industry leader within the local market
- Help drive the Japan expansion of the companies proven business model working to achieve the full exposure and delivery of one of the leading FX trading platforms to retail and institutional clients (B-to-B) in Japan
- Act as mentor to Japan sales team and ensure that new employees are properly mentored, trained and developed
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Reporting to this position:

Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge Experience)
- Minimum 7 years experience within sales / business development in the Japanese FX market
- Strong existing relationships within the Japanese FX market, preferably with brokers
- Experience managing a team
- Understand the workflow for Japanese B-to-B retail FX participants
- Entrepreneurial Ability - the candidate should have the ability to identify opportunities in and around the Japanese retail FX market
- Native level Japanese
- Ability to communicate in English
- Commercial Awareness
- Results / Goal Oriented - Routinely exceeds targets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong sense of commitment
- Positive, enthusiastic, motivated, open-minded, flexible service and results orientated
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
