Director of Sales/ Business Development recruitment

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Developing strong relationships with senior members of current and potential client organizations, understanding clients' strategies and objectives, and pitching the value of the firm's solutions.

• Developing a strong understanding of, and staying current on, the firm's products and services and their application to different clients and industries.

• Staying current on competitor offerings to identify the strengths and vulnerabilities this company's offerings in comparison.

• Analysing client usage trends to identify growth and risk areas.

• Turning client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.

• Influencing client decisions and advocating for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions.

• Actively assessing the marketplace to identify new business development opportunities.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience working in a comparable business development position within financial services and using a consultative sales style; A good knowledge of Risk Management topics such as counterparty risk analysis, rating methodologies, PD models, recovery analysis, Basel II/III regulatory framework, ICAAP etc.;  Bachelors degree essential - Masters or MBAs preferred; Fluency in English and French; Strong client facing skills; excellent communication and presentation; the ability to work under pressure and strong organisation skills - Ability to multi task, self-start, manage conflicting priorities.  Ability and willingness to travel and a strong personal integrity and a confident and positive manner, ideally a self-starter who shows initiative. You will be able to work with a high level of energy and focus and have strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Working well in a team as well as independently is crucial. Having the desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
