Director of Sales Engineering Job in Detroit, Michigan US
Rapidly growing global precision Injection Molding Company is searching for a Director of Sales Engineering residing in the Detroit Metro area. This is a high visibility position that will be responsible for managing key Global and North American accounts as well as the development of Global Business Strategies. The Director of Sales Engineering will be the focal point for all commercial issues and negotiations with assigned accounts (LTA, contracts, cost, pricing, etc.). The Director of Sales Engineering reports to the Global SE Director in Switzerland.
The successful candidate will have:
· Experience managing Account Managers in an area of technical sales.
· Demonstrated ability for developing and achieving a sales forecast on both Local and Global account levels.
· Proven track record, and the ability to build successful relationships with Key Strategic Accounts.
· Quotation preparation and presentation acumen for new business, engineering changes and cost increases.
· A minimum of 5 years Automotive Tier 2 to Tier 1 sales experience, preferably in an Injection Molding environment.
· A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
· Analytical business acumen, strong problem solving skills, and a superior attention to detail.
· Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
