Director of Sales – Securities Lending recruitment

*              Support the Sales organization on sales relationship management issues.

*              Support the Directors, Portfolio Solutions on cross all product lines relationship management

*               Provide detailed SL portfolio analysis and revenue estimates to be used in client business case and value proposition development

*              Be the primary contact for Client Service Managers for specific SL questions

*              Provide SL product training to sales team

*              Identify SL client decision makers, buying influences, coaches centres of influence both within and outside target organizations

*              Fully understand the political landscape in the front office of prospects / client organizations as well as 3rd party relationship and decision makers

*              Rigorously gather critical information on the prospects business profile to support the development of a winning SL value proposition to retain and grow clients

*              Ensure active, consultative, multi-level partnerships are established with clients/prospects . Adopt a 'partnership of excellence' with all strategically targeted SL clients/prospects

*              Take direction from portfolio solutions group where there are multiple product opportunities.

Requirements:

*              Proven technical knowledge specific to product investment finance Securities Lending

*              Proven knowledge of portfolio management, Hedge Funds and the wider financial industry

*              Proven experience selling, managing relationships in complex, multi-level organizations

*              Orientation towards disciplined strategic business development processes.

*              Highly skilled in preparing written and oral presentations.

*              Refined interpersonal skills.

*              Expert negotiation skills.

*              University degree, plus CFA or technical equivalent
