Director of Strategic Supplier and Demand Management recruitment
Job Description
Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for:
-Setting up and executing the supplier relationships as well as ensure correct governance and communication.
-Establish strong relationship interface between the the supplier and the organisation and communicate demand.
-Measure and monitor SLAs, performance, quality and pricing regularly.
-Measure the pricing and benchmark this against the industry.
Essentially this role deals with complex relationships with very large supplier plans, you will provide high level recommendations that will shape the decisions as well as have highly significant commercial impact. This role is the gatekeeper interface between the organisation and supplier.
Person Specification
You should have:
-At least 10-15 years experience in a similar role or capacity
-Excellent business acumen
-Ability to "get things done", an executer with an extroverted personality.
-Strong leadership skills
-Excellent relationship skills
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Ability to define SLAs and metrics
-Ability to influence people and create complex business cases.
