Here is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse to function as the Director of Surgical Services at a reputable hospital in the area. This position will oversee the following departments: Operating Room, PACU, Same Day Surgery and Endoscopy.
Director of Surgical Services
- Reporting to the CNO, the Director of Surgical Services will look over the entire surgical services umbrella and will be in charge of over 100+ FTE’s, including several nurse managers and coordinators
- Conducts between 300-400 surgical cases monthly
- Conducts most surgical cases, including Open Hearts, Neuro, Orthopedics, da Vinci, General
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of Director level experience under the surgical services / peri-operative umbrella
- BSN Degree required, Masters preferred
- 5+ years of operating room or surgical services clinical experience highly preferred
- A strong Surgical Services or Operating Room Nurse Manager will be considered!
