Director, Product Development recruitment

Description

Highland has an immediate opening for a Product Development Director on our Business Development team located in Dallas, Texas. This position will help the team execute on the Highland’s global growth initiatives, including the development of new products/fund offerings and fundraising activities. Please apply only if you are in Dallas or specifically interested in relocating to Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Develop content (including financial metrics) for use in new marketing materials and investor communications

• Update existing marketing materials and investor presentations

• Analyze data from internal systems and external sources and summarize into useful information for senior management and clients

• Manage information flow across numerous departments

• Assist with a wide variety of ad-hoc projects, acting as a general utility player as needed

• Assist in analysis and development in potential new product offering

• Assist in drafting white papers and other materials at the direction of the investment team

• Prepare front office/investment professionals for client presentations

Qualifications

•  4+ years of experience working in a finance/accounting or analytical role. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required

• An undergraduate degree in finance or accounting from a well-regarded institution; advanced degree preferred

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and provide value-added feedback on the content and quality of presentations

• Solid technology skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Works well under pressure, prioritizes effectively and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, as well as being process driven and able to handle many tasks at the same time and manage that process
