Director, Product Management

Responsibilities:
Own and develop the product roadmap for the website in terms of the home page, section fronts and article pages.
Provide perspective on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Collect, organize and analyze data from user studies to further produce enhancements and drive sound business decisions.
Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Operations and Technology to ensure effective communication regarding product development efforts and product execution.
Partner with technology, design, marketing, advertising and editorial teams to develop and execute against product roadmaps.
Monitor and analyze key metrics, including overall customer usage and ongoing feedback, and leverage findings for future product development.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required.
7+ years of experience in product management or product marketing with an emphasis on partnering with technical staff within a consumer-facing, media company.
Existing industry network with access to emerging technologies and industry trends.
Work effectively in a global, virtual and matrixed environment.
Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with deep understanding of the internet, and online journalism, media and/or advertising space.
A passion for the Web and for The New York Times.
