Job Description
The Customer Experience Group at TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB is responsible for defining the vision, leading strategic development and building a world-class customer/user experience for the TIAA-CREF Bank: maximizing its reach and user impact, and supporting its client acquisition, cross-sell and retention goals in digitally innovative and operationally efficient ways.
- Set strategic roadmap and oversees all activities around a specific product domain or program including planning, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
- Define appropriate investment level. Manage project financials.
- Develop and socialize product vision, strategy, roadmap and key initiatives broadly with stakeholders and teams.
- Ensure that strategies and plans are coordinated and sequenced against the broader business and digital strategies and initiatives.
- Work with Project Management Office to translate strategies into specific sequenced project initiatives considering scope, cost, feasibility, technology alternatives and business needs.
- Manage project per TIAA-CREF Bank project management guidelines (e.g., defines scope, business requirements, plan and approach, resources, status updates and communication strategy).
- Act as the primary interface to the technology, business, operations, legal and compliance teams to resolve client experience and fulfillment issues - own cross-functional issues through resolution.
- Develop partnerships with providers.
- Define success measures and tracking needs
- Develop customer insights, business knowledge and subject matter expertise for assigned product domains or programs; continuously monitor trends and competitive developments to identify opportunities and make recommendations on improving the client experience.
- Develop resources to ensure intellectual capital is accumulated, communicated, maintained and transferable.
Qualifications
- 7 year's business experience.
- Proven ability to be a business partner and driver of change.
- Proficient in the consumer banking business, controls, operational functions and technology - demonstrated ability to apply this proficiency to make sound decisions/recommendations in ambiguous situations.
- Proven ability to spot trends and translate them into effective business practices that produce visible and measurable results
- Intimate knowledge of, and experience with digital technologies and businesses, with a strong consumer orientation.
- Excellent relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions, businesses, divisions and management levels.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills (written/verbal).
