Director-Product Marketing-Capital Markets

Our client, a highly respected global leader in the financial services technology arena are currently looking for a Product Marketing Director to join its Global Trading division. You will be responsible for leading a team and implementing global marketing initiatives developing the marketing plan from the strategic through to tactical operations - collateral, campaigns, lead generation, customer retention and linkage with PR and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- working with product teams to understand how products can help banks, brokers and back-office managers. This would lead to value proposition messaging that would ultimately lead to developing specific marketing campaigns

- Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of these products

- Campaign Management - work with the product and sales teams, incorporating the key messaging and value proposition positioning. You will be responsible for developing key integrated marketing campaigns that help improve the organisation's position as a thought leader, through to lead generation and nurturing and ultimately customer retention

- Work with the wider marketing team including global events and the business intelligence team

- Develop strong Market intelligence

- Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the demand-generation marketing programs in close association with the data and lead management team

- Integrate research insights into campaigns and materials

- managing the budget ensuring that campaigns are implemented not only against plan but within budget and understanding the ROI for each campaign. Pitching of ideas for increased share of budget is expected and encouraged

Experience required

- Strong B2B Marketing experience gained within any of the following areas is essential: Capital Markets/Investment Banking/Broking (within Capital markets)Treasury Trading

- Broad marketing communications and product marketing experience gained in the B2B financial services sector (eg.campaign management, lead generation, marketing intelligence, event management)

- International marketing experience

- Strong budgetary management skills-with a focus on maximising ROI

- Experience of developing marketing plans/strategies linked to specific products/business areas

- Familiarity with current multi-media production

- People management experience, with a track record of building high performing teams
