Director, Project Management recruitment
You will manage the allocated sub-projects pertaining to the project to achieve the goals set. You will participate in enhancement projects to the regional platform, commencing from the Front Office to Middle Office/ Risk/ Compliance and Back Office (including Accounting and Regulatory Reporting). You will lead transverse initiatives involving the different private banking departments and will be involved in the collation and systematic analysis of users’ requirements. This will include the validation process within the business line and external. You will also ensure rollouts are effectively executed with minimal impact on the business/ operational lines, and will adhere to the targeted milestones and objectives of the project. You will monitor the project progress and report to the Management on any deviations of the targets. Finally, you will also lead ad-hoc initiatives to the platform pertaining to business/ operational needs.
Pre-requisites:
- Background in wealth management back office operations
- At least 6 – 8 years work experience, preferably within treasury, securities operations, as well as the processing of structured derivatives products
- Prior experience in participation of system architecture
- Prior experience in system implementation in the banking sector
- Knowledge of front and back-end treasury/ securities product systems are preferred
- Possess good accounting, treasury and risk management knowledge
- Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Strong drive for continual improvement in control and risk mitigation
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines well
- Enjoy analyzing and solving problems
- Possess good interpersonal and team working skills
- Possess a good command of verbal and written communication skills
