DIRECTOR QUALITY & CASE MGMT-Full Time* Job in Springfield, Ohio US

A summary of the specific skills, knowledge and behaviors of this position are: ensures the delivery of high quality, excellent care that meets and exceeds regulatory standards and requirements and payer expectations, as well as assisting the organization and the CMHP region to successfully achieve the CHP system objectives for quality and patient safety. Oversees quality reviews and reporting; performance improvement; analysis of serious adverse events; and infection control. Collaborates closely with and assists case management; documentation specialists; divisional patient safety officer; risk management; discharge planners; nursing leadership; divisional quality leadership; and medical staff for peer review activities. Prepares and submits quality reports as required by external agencies and payers. Facilitates and supports the quality, patient safety and performance improvement committee infrastructure.

EDUCATION: Registered Nurse or other Allied Health
Professional
Bachelors Degree Required.
Masters degree preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
preferred

EXPERIENCE: A minimum 5 years clinical experience, with three
years experience in a management position with
increasing responsibility and demonstration of
success improving clinical quality. Case
management experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current Ohio RN, or other
Allied Health Professional License
