Director – Reference Data, Operations, Bank recruitment
The Reference Data team supports our client's global operations. The department is responsible for reference data management through many of their systems. The primary responsibilities of the department are to support the global sales and trading teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, New York and the regional Asian financial centers.
The Reference Data group will be responsible for working with and Front Office and Middle Office teams to ensure timely set up and management of all client, broker, and custodian accounts as well as instruments.
The Reference Data Manager will be a key person involved in the overall redesigning and direction of reference data strategy and the associated processes within the bank. They will also play a key role in a project of migrating to a new operating system.
The candidate should be willing and able to challenge existing processes and procedures and suggest changes where these are felt to be appropriate and necessary. You will be adept with IT and capable of specifying business requirements for enhancements or replacements for existing or new applications.
You should have a minimum of eight years of managerial experience and at least five years in reference data in the securities industry. The successful candidate should have working knowledge of reference data, account set up, etc and be familiar trade processing and procedures.
