Director – Regional Sales Mid

Their continued success in the Global arena has warranted adding additional positions here in the USA.
This Director of Regional Sales for the Mid-West will be responsible for:
Position:
Leads and Manages sales activities of the Mid-West Region. The position will report to VP Sales Regional Vice President. Must know the Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry
The travel required for this position is 50% to 70%.
Team:
You will be directing a team of 12-18 Global Sales Managers, Sr. Account Execs Account Executives.

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans
· Forecasting activities and sets performance goals
· Reviews market analyses of customer needs, pricing, and discount rates.
· Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations of Sales
· Channel development, sales territories, quotas, and goals.
· Advises team regarding sales solutions and advertising techniques
· Assigns regional sales territory to sales executives.
· Analyzes sales statistics and regional expenditures
· Directs product simplification and standardization
· Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
· Presents, Negotiates, and closes key clients with account executives.
· Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
· Technical Skills – CRM systems, Sales data analysis forecasting planning
