Full Job Description

Due to increasing workload this leading investment bank is seeking a Director, Restructuringto join their London team. The workout team deals with clients of the bank thatarestressed, distressed or in default. The Director role is a relatively autonomousposition that involves taking ownership of a portfolio of typically between 15 and 20 cases - clients may be based throughout EMEA and thus there is some travel when required.

We are looking for a banker or advisor at Director level with extensive experience of managing complex restructuring situations. As well as an ability to deal with external stakeholders (i.e. clients, other banks, investors etc) the right candidate will also be able to work with internal stakeholdersincluding origination teams, credit sanctioners and so forth.
We are specifically looking for someone who is able to understand the motivations of all of the participants within a restructuring scenario - particularly clients and distressed investors - who has the ability to apply this knowledge to gain the most positive outcome on behalf of the bank.
UK and EMEA restructuring experience is essential, whether this has been gained within a banking, advisory or investing context.
