Director, Risk & Business Management

Acting as Risk Manager for TFS entities, including ensuring new business acceptance and administration processes are fully respected, you will manage special projects as and when required affecting TFS entities business.  You will support Trust Administration Management and team with technical and practical guidance, including organization of internal and external training and development to improve expertise and competency standards.

You will organize a minimum of two full board meetings per annum, preparing board papers and reports, as required for review in advance; and ensuring board meeting minutes and documentation are completed and submitted as appropriate.  You will ensure the full compliance with reporting to MAS, including statistical, accounting and changes as demanded by regulations and addressing and reporting on Internal and External Audit recommendations and comments.  You will ensure all the necessary internal and external returns and business authorizations required are competed and submitted to the appropriate departments.  You will also ensure that all TFS new business and other monthly and quarterly financial and performance reports are prepared and submitted in timely fashion to the relevant parties.

In fulfilling the role of Risk Manager, you will check all new business applications comply with TFS policies and principles and all necessary checks are completed prior to submission to the relevant committees.  You will monitor the various internal control checks, such as Periodic Reviews, AML checks on Inward/ Outward Funds, and compliance with procedures.  You will also be involved in the management and regular updating of the Procedures Guide, as well as management of the ‘At Risk Register’.  Responsible for the organization of regular Risk Management Committee Meetings, you will present the Risk Management report at Board meetings.

You will manage special projects in order to assess implications on TFS entities, as and when required and proactively monitor the business environment to identify changes or new requirements e.g. FATCA and Singapore new Data Protection law.

Acting as reference point to assist the Trust Administration Team in achieving high quality service levels and ensuring that new business technical and practical administrative issues are clearly understood and acted upon effectively, you will improve the competency standards of the Trust Administration Team through identification of needs, organization of internal and external training.

You will be responsible for understanding, management and utilization of the TFS database (Taskforce accounting and administration); the storage and retrieval of documentation, utilization and organization of TFS computer network files.  Providing cover for other members of TFS management during absences, such as leave caused by sickness and vacations, you are a responsible and responsive member of the TFS management team contributing to the overall success of the team and the objectives of the Private Bank as a whole.
