Director, Risk Management recruitment
Senior risk manager with superior academics and significant trading operations and IT risk experience sought by this dynamic and rapidly expanding financial institution. Previous exposure to a High Frequency Trading environment is strongly preferred and experience will ideally be gained from an investment bank or hedge fund environment.
The successful candidate will be a trading operations risk specialist with strong IT risk experience, and strong knowledge of market and systemic risk management. A thorough understanding of the principles and philosophy of Enterprise Risk Management and experience of developing and managing a robust framework for risk and governance is essential.
This is a “hands on” role requiring the successful individual to operate at senior management level and proven senior stakeholder management skills will be complemented by the presence, gravitas and credibility essential to influence senior management and ensure delivery and maintenance of a strong risk and control culture across the firm.
Key purpose of the role will be to develop, implement and subsequently manage a detailed and robust risk framework, advising on best practice in business, financial and technology risk. This will involve reviewing existing risk practices, maintaining knowledge of changes across the global risk arena and overseeing the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the firm’s risk management infrastructure and policies.
