The Role:
Supervise all risk-related activities across various business functions including Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Corporate Credit Risk/Rating, etc.
Assess the risk profile of various business functions across market risk, credit risk and operational risk
Conduct analysis and make recommendations in capital requirements for different trading strategies and financial instruments using quantitative methodologies
Keep track of the changing global policies and industry developments as to keep the firm’s policies most updated
The Candidate:
Degree holder in Risk Management, Economics, Finance or a related business discipline
Preferably with a professional qualification, such as CPA, FRM, CFA, etc.
10 to 15+ years solid working experience within banking/financial services, currently in a senior capacity covering most/all Risk Management functions
Working knowledge of OTC derivatives and trading risk management from global financial institutions
Experienced in the development or formulation of Risk Management framework and policies
In-depth knowledge of global and local regulatory requirements such as Basel II/III, HKMA LM2, etc.
Proven experience in supervising teams, departments, and/or business functions
Fluent spoken English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus
