Director – Risk, Policy & Controls ( Sourcing ) recruitment
This role represents an opportunity for a senior level Risk / Controls candidate to join a rapidly expanding part of the business and to help grow and develop the function. Reporting directly into the COO, your role will be to define and implement the controls and policy framework for the Procurement side of the business, in order to capture key risks across their regional operations and to ensure that all supplier policies meet both internal and external regulatory requirements. You will also play a very strategic role in helping to define the risk appetite with senior management within the group – as well as providing a robust framework to assess and report on all risk and activities across the sourcing function. As this will be a recently established team you will also be required recruit an experienced team to meet the demands of the business.
To qualify for this position you will require :
- At least 12 years experience in a risk / controls related role
- Experience of working internationally and in a complex / matrixed environment
- Proven experience of developing a control framework in either a bank of MNC
- Strong man management experience and the ability to develop an existing team
