About our Client
Our client is a leading European commercial bank, due to management reshuffling, they are looking for a Director to head up their RM team.
Job Description
- Deliver the agreed growth and financial targets for global banking products and services from the team
- Aggressively grow share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements
- Develop access to CFO/Treasurer level of client base
- Strengthen presence in the target client sector by providing clients with a compelling service proposition based on professional relationship management and outstanding customer service
- Maintain a high profile in industry associations and professional bodies to maximize industry exposure for the bank
- Continually develop industry knowledge and keep up to date with market developments, mainly with respect to industries that north team covered
- Promote the same industrial knowledge among the junior team members
- Combine client relationship management and industry knowledge with strong risk assessment capabilities to ensure strong credit quality and adequate return on risk
- Comply with all relevant internal compliance requirements, external regulations and statutes within the sector and region
The Successful Applicant
- University degree or above
- At least five years experience as RM in foreign banks (covering either MNC or LLC)
- Ability to work across a number of cultures and geographic areas is essential
- Teamwork skills and leadership skills are important
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with adequate confidence to deal with senior management of large corporate
- Good written and spoken English skills
