Director, Sales Risk and Credit Risk recruitment

Main responsibilities and objectives.:
You will be directly responsible for the development of business within the Northern European regions, including creating a business plan as well as identifying target markets, competitor analysis and key influencers,.
You will work with product specialists and marketing teams.
You will be responsible for managing existing relationships as well as generate new business.
Developing strong relationships with senior members of current and potential client organizations, understanding clients' strategies and objectives, and pitching the value of our solutions.
Analyzing client usage trends to identify growth and risk areas.
Working with an entrepreneurial mindset that demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients.
Mentoring junior members of the team by providing instruction and positive modelling.

Skills and experience required:
Must be degree educated (or equivalent), preferably gained in a numerical discipline ie: Statistics, Sciences and Finance.
Proven track record in product, model or software sales within the financial markets selling to banks, buy-side or sell side institutions.
Good knowledge of Risk Management topics such as counterparty risk analysis, rating methodologies, PD models, recovery analysis, Basel II/III regulatory framework, ICAAP.
Fluent English is essential, German would be an advantage.
Able identify/recognise cross-selling opportunities at each sales opportunity.
Able to quickly grasp the fundamentals of the product range.
Good understanding of finance and credit/market risk management.
Ability and willingness to travel
