We are currently looking for a

Director of Sales Spain South America (m/f)

to work at our offices in London or Frankfurt.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Director Sales, you will be acting as our representative in Spain and South America, and will be responsible for entering these markets. Through meetings targeted at acquiring new business, you will develop and foster new business contacts to add to our existing client pool.

Your experience in these regions is key to the management, as this will be important when formulating product and sales strategy. You will operate in close contact with local investors, business partners and use important networks. You will be presenting the company and its products on a regular basis at various events such as roadshows, round-table talks, etc. The successful candidate will have frequented the relevant trade events where he/she is regarded as a competent figure.

The successful candidate will prove his/her expertise on a regular basis when taking part in the institutional product selection process. As a first contact, your will be meeting all your clients regularly, taking care of their needs, and keeping them updated on all Aquila-Group products. The clients needs will be given your full attention, and follow-up work associated with the clients will run smoothly. In addition to carrying out normal sales activities, the successful applicant will be expected to regularly look out for any changes in law/regulatory changes and client structures, and to implement any necessary changes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have

• A degree in the field of finance, preferably with some international context

• Excellent knowledge and sales experience in financial services and financial products

• Several years asset management sales experience servicing institutional clients of a fund 
  company/issuing house or investment company

• Pertinent knowledge of relevant legal compliances in the servicing sector

• Verifiable and above average success and skills in local market sales

• Experience in the setting up and issuing of special funds and managed accounts

• Corporate network thinking and conduct, working independently but at the same time
   being an integral part of a team

• An established client network

• A willingness to work, great flexible and ability to work under pressure

• Sound knowledge of MS Office and, in particular, PowerPoint
