Altegris is in a very exciting growth phase and is searching for a talented and motivated Director - Sales Strategy and Channel Marketing to be an integral member of the Marketing Team. Responsibilities:

The Director - Sales Strategy and Channel Marketing will be responsible for overall sales and field support. The duties will include:

• Developing and producing timely/opportunistic sales campaigns and new asset-gathering and retention programs (relationship marketing)
• Managing sales requests for "one-off" presentations, materials, etc.
• Developing a library on our intranet with an up-to-date catalogue of materials and presentations
• Managing the Marketing Department's overall strategic role at conferences and events
• Managing the Altegris Academy Advisor Resource Center
o Developing and/or overseeing all non-product, or strategy-related, communications, such as Advisor Training Modules relating to "How to Sell and Use Alternatives"
• Managing our annual Strategic Investment Conference
• Developing holistic programs to increase sales and brand awareness, utilizing targeted messaging and education
• Developing and directing client experience events and communications
• Coordinating and managing a Sales Advisory Board
• Managing and coordinating a calendar of quarterly webinars, trade shows and conferences
• Collaborating with the Director of Online Marketing for database opportunities
• Managing the Genworth relationship

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the financial-services industry, in a marketing, sales support or strategy role, preferably with an asset/investment-management firm with a strong focus on the intermediary distribution channel
• Strong left/right brain competencies
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Management experience with large sales and client events, conferences
• Database/relationship-management experience
• Solid writing and creative skills
• Ability to think and execute on both strategic and tactical levels

Preferred:

• Direct experience developing and managing advisor resource/practice-management programs for professional financial investors
• Prior sales-advisory experience, such as in financial advising, field sales, etc.
