Director- Senior Institional Business Development (buy side) recruitment

The key responsibilities are :

1) Develop and coordinate prospecting programs of new and existing products to prospective clients and consultants. Be integrally involved in business development efforts that would take the business beyond current prospect channels.

2) Cultivate well-established relationships with potential prospects and decision makers in relevant markets.

3) Responsible for obtaining a thorough understanding of Asian institutional investors' product lines, as well as current investment allocation, strategies, etc.

4) Ensuring that sales acts as a highly knowledgeable conduit of information and feedback from prospects and consultants to Company by providing product development input.

5) Strengthen the Company's relationships with consultants to ensure business development while cultivating new relationships in order to expand client base.

6) Building and promoting the Company's brand recognition in Asia.

7) Responsible for reviewing both internal and external communications to consultants and prospective clients (marketing materials, presentations, RFPs, questionnaires, strategy pages, etc.).

8) Perform / coordinate presentations to prospects and consultants for quarterly/annual updates.

The Key requirement are :

1) The successful candidate will possess superior business development and marketing skills and have knowledge across relevant channels in whichthe firm's products are distributed and pitched to institutions. Current experience in business development and product and consultant channels is highly desired.

2) Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the fixed income asset management industry within fixed income sales and/or client service/marketing functions. Institutional sales candidates from sell side in rates/credit or fixed income sales will also be considered

3) Outstanding, proven business development skills and an assertive mindset to aggressively penetrate the Asia markets

4) Proven ability to create and develop a marketing and presentation process with a focus on closing new business

5) In-depth knowledge of products, functions and services and the ability to translate that knowledge into an effective marketing platform and operational support initiatives

6) Demonstrated teamwork skills that will allow the successful candidate to work effectively across a broad range of business functions, including the ability to collaborate with Portfolio Managers and with employees in other offices

7) The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, pro-active and highly motivated individual, who is passionate about adding value and delivering superior results to the Company.

8) Receptivity to fresh approaches to investments, marketing, client service and distribution.

9) Excellent and persuasive communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly both verbally and in writing.

10) Ability to thrive in a highly-matrixed, collegial company with a flat organization structure.
