KEY ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Team Head, Corporate Institutional Banking, your main responsibilities are to:

* Market new business, and increase the gross profitability to the Division of existing customers within the portfolio, in line with credit policies, underwriting standards and targets set by the Team Head. Increase utilization of Bank and other subsidiaries / associates' products, with the emphasis on trade finance, cash and global markets products

* Maintain and control existing business to endeavour to ensure that our customers are of the highest standard with the aim maximising returns (EP) and profit of each relationship, the minimum being that laid down by credit policy

* Maintain close contact with customers and monitor customer quality in order to minimise the risk of loss to the Bank. Job holder is primarily responsible for any losses occurring in facilities approved or recommended by him / her

* Approve limit applications granted under discretionary powers and recommend applications for higher level approval

* Undertake regular inspection of assets and documents which represent security for the Bank

* Ensure that all administration associated with the portfolio is done accurately in accordance with laid down procedures and on a timely basis

* Demonstrate internal leadership to arrive at a solutions based approach by integrating the relevant product partners and Risk to maximize client revenues and cross-sell

* Deliver personal budget and manage costs within Sales and Marketing Cost budget

* Develop talent and help to multiply leaders to produce the best bankers in the industry and World Class support team

* Drive higher level of engagement through Origination Client Coverage through effective and robust internal communication program

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS

To meet the challenge, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: -
* University graduate with solid and concrete experience in institutional/commercial and investment banks.
* Dynamic exposure and business connection in local sizable and listed companies in Hong Kong
* Priority consideration will be given to bankers with CPA, EMBA or MBA
* A team player with seasoned leadership, influencing and presentation skills
* Customer and sales oriented banker with strong knowledge in commercial and investment banking products
* Proven ability to manage and deal with multiple internal and external stakeholders and complex commercial cases
* Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is a must
* Hands-on is using MS Office
